"Paper Totem"

The Paper Totem was an experiment of gluing folded chinese paper onto scrap wood. After pilling it up, I started to notice the flow of it as a whole. I really appreciate how the delicate characteristics of the paper contrast with the boldness of the wood. So for all this to be viewed, the piece is intended to hang from the wall. This is a very important part of the concept, just because it is possible for the viewer to see all the different angles and corners the paper makes.
